João Pessoa is located at the most eastern point of South America. This gives her the nickname “the city where the sun rises as first”. It is also the second most forested city in the world. And it is the third oldest city in Brazil. At last the city is very popular by local tourists because of her tens of kilometers of beaches.

Our tour starts at the most important historical site. The museum and the church of São Francisco. The building dates from 1588. This old church has historical heritages and is an important monument because of its baroque architecture and art.

Then we pass João Pessoa square with its colored houses. We continue the road along the Solon de Lucena park. A huge pond in the middle of the city. The next destination is the lighthouse of Cabo Branco. From here you can see Ponta do Seixas, the craft center and praia do Jacaré.
